In 1844 a John SHEADY (sic),born in Australia, appear in court on charges
of theft. He was found guilty and sentenced to six months gaol in the
Sydney Gaol. (src: Sydney Morning Herald, March 19th 1844.)

	JOHN SHEADY, born in the colony, 
	indicted for stealing in a dwelling.
	found GUILTY. 
	sentenced to six months to the SYDNEY GAOL.	"

It is not yet determined which John Sheedy this is.If even aged between
16 - 20 years he would have been born c1824 - 1830. There is not many
John Sheedys known to have been born in this era in Australia, or indeed
even prior (1788 - 1825).

If we were able to obtain his Gaol admission records, we might have a 
chance of identifying who this John Sheedy was.
