Michael Sheedy & Margaret Walsh {1}

Little is known about Michael and Margaret.
Their sons,Patrick and Michael,were born  Galbally, Glen of Aherlow, 
Co Tippy.

The brothers arrived in New South Wales as immigrants
per Lascar, on the 11th Nov 1841, having departed
Cork,Ireland on the 28th July of that year.

The family group consisted of Patrick and his wife Julia,
and their four children (Marg,Michael,Mary & Cath), and
Patrick's brother Michael, and their niece Mary Ann
Blackburn,[age 20] and two cousins of Julia's by the
name of Margaret Gorman, one of whom was to shortly 
become the wife of Michael Sheedy [bro of Pat].

The families took up residence in the Queanbeyan region of
New South Wales,and two of that town's later Mayors where
the sons of MaryAnn Blackburn who had married Martin Pike.
Mary Ann had been assigned to Mr Klenendoriffe upon her
arrival in Australia, as was Pat and Michael Sheed,
at Limestones Plains. [Queanbeyan].
