Roger Sheehy (husband of Ann) who lived at Macdonald River is, according
to some sources, the same Roger Sheehy who was transported to N.S.W aboard
the 'Providence' in 1811.
Roger Sheehy per 'Providence is recorded as having the alias Shea and Shean.
Roger was trialled in Co Cork in 1810 and received a seven year sentence of
transportation.

1843 Roger and Ann Sheehy were the witnesses to the marriage
of Thomas Sweeney to Isamen Tully at McDonald River.
According to Graeme Hudson, Roger Sheehy is credited
with the donating of land for Our Lady of Loretto Church
in the Upper Macdonald (taken from THE FORGOTTEN VALLEY
by M.Hutton Neve.).
1855 March 10th. Ann Sheehy died.?
1858 June 11th. A Roger Sheehy died at Macdonald, son of
Terence Sheedy.
